How to install a faucet.

Is it time to have a new faucet installed in your home or business? A lot of people are looking to redecorate their homes and the appliances and fixtures within them. Homeowners are no longer limited to just changing their tiles in the restroom and kitchen, but they’re able to easily purchase new sinks, bathtubs and other fixtures in their homes. If you are looking to have a faucet install service for your home, you can easily find an Arizona plumber to assist you. Now, if you are looking to save money by doing the faucet install yourself, you can easily do so. It will take you about 30 minutes or more, depending on how hands on you are.

After you have purchased the bathroom faucet that you wish to install, you will need to remove the doors from your bathroom sink’s cabinet. This will give you more room for the faucet install. Now, place the faucet in the right hole in the countertop. Next, you will need to attach the rubber washer to the faucet, located under the countertop. There should be a gap, which will be used to accommodate a pop-up drain control. Make sure that the washer and lock nut are tightly secured. (phoenix Plumber) Goodyear.

Next, you will need to attach the handles – simply follow the instructions of the manufacturer that created the faucet. Even the pros follow these instructions and it’s the only way to ensure that you don’t have any water leaks.

Now, if you’re looking to install a bathtub faucet, you will need to first determine the height of the faucet, so that you will know how high up it needs to be mounted on the wall. Next, you will need plywood in the adjacent room, so that the faucet is attached to something sturdy. Drills are needed for to put holes in the wall of the adjacent room. You will need to get close to the stud as you can, but still allowing space for the plumbing to go. Now, measure the distance between the hot and cold knobs on the faucet. These same measurements should be for the holes in the wall as well.

A torpedo level can be used to ensure that the holes are directly across from one another. No one likes a crooked looking bathtub faucet. You will then need to drill another pilot hole into other side of the faucet. Using a stop collar can is a good idea to prevent the drill from going too deep and drilling into the plumbing. You can use a hole saw to cut through dense materials like marble.

Now, you should be able to slide the bathroom faucet into place and drill the bits into the holes in the wall to mount it. The bolts should be tightened from the adjacent room where the holes were drilled from.

Again, if you need any help with your faucet install, you can always count on an Arizona plumber to assist you. If you’re able to install it on your own, great job!
